Fallou provides on-demand transportation services through our platform that connects passengers with independent drivers. Our Services include:
- City rides for local transportation
- Airport transfer services
- Long-distance travel options
- Group transportation services
- 24/7 ride booking and dispatch
We act as an intermediary between passengers and drivers and do not provide transportation services directly.
User Accounts and Registration
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
Booking and Payment
Ride Booking
- Ride requests are subject to driver availability
- We do not guarantee that a driver will accept your ride request
- Estimated arrival times and fares are approximations
- You may cancel rides according to our cancellation policy
Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the ride
- Fares are calculated based on time, distance, and demand
- Additional fees may apply for tolls, airport pickups, or special requests
- We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods
- Tips for drivers are optional and can be added through the app
User Conduct and Responsibilities
When using our Services, you agree to:
- Treat drivers and other users with respect and courtesy
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide accurate pickup and destination information
- Be ready for pickup at the designated time and location
- Not engage in illegal, harmful, or disruptive behavior
- Not damage or misuse vehicles or property
- Not discriminate against drivers based on protected characteristics
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Services for:
- Illegal activities or transportation of illegal items
- Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior
- Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
- Interfering with the operation of our platform
- Reverse engineering or copying our technology
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- Commercial use without our written permission
Safety and Security
Your safety is our priority. We implement various safety measures including:
- Driver background checks and vehicle inspections
- Real-time trip tracking and monitoring
- In-app emergency features and support
- Driver and passenger rating systems
However, you acknowledge that transportation involves inherent risks, and you use our Services at your own risk.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- You may cancel rides before driver arrival without penalty
- Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after the driver has started traveling to your location
- No-show fees may be charged if you fail to appear for a scheduled pickup
- Refunds are processed according to our refund policy and may take 3-5 business days
- Disputes regarding charges can be submitted through our customer support
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Fallou is not liable for actions of independent drivers
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific ride
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- You assume all risks associated with using our Services
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fallou, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Your conduct during rides or interactions with drivers
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by Fallou and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Reverse engineer our software or technology
- Create derivative works based on our Services
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services at any time, with or without notice, for:
